XYCOLO: check the specifications available when you order.

Even under the same brand name, available materials and specifications may change. Check the conditions at the time of ordering.

WHAT TO CHECK FIRST

Focus on the current specifications of the doll you are ordering rather than past material descriptions.

When considering XYCOLO, check the materials and specifications available at the time of ordering together with your preferred face and body shape. The same brand or model name does not necessarily mean the same body choices or optional specifications. Aligning the basis of comparison also makes the reasons for price differences easier to understand.

Check the selections even when the name is the same.

Do the photographs and notes you saved while researching match the conditions on the actual order page? Product options and package contents can change. Alongside explaining the appearance you want, confirming the head, body, materials, and finish when ordering helps reduce misunderstandings.

When recording a candidate, add the date and seller's name alongside the product name. If you find a similarly named option, first check whether it is the same combination before switching to the cheaper one. Keeping the date of the check makes it easier to trace the conditions used for comparison if the selection fields change later.

Choose options for a clear practical reason.

The more choices there are, the more useful it is to identify what your intended use requires before considering the price of adding everything. Separate items affecting appearance, those affecting everyday handling, and items that can be replaced later, then set priorities for each.

For optional specifications, check eligible bodies, any effect on the delivery schedule, and differences in handling, as well as price. Do not infer functions or quality from the name alone; ask exactly what changes. You can leave an option undecided and continue comparing if you cannot yet explain why you need it.

  • Separate essential appearance requirements from items that can be considered later.
  • Check the extra cost of each option and whether it can be changed after ordering.
  • Ask whether the option is available for your preferred head and body.

Examine price differences item by item.

When two sellers quote different prices, a matching model name alone does not establish equivalent conditions. Put the standard hair, makeup, accessories, body material, and shipping inclusions in the same table. If configurations differ, the price gap may reflect the selections rather than the size of a discount.

Do not fill gaps in the comparison table with favorable assumptions. Do not assume shipping is free because it is not listed, or that an item is included because it appears in a photograph. Obtain answers before comparing totals. Alongside the price, check how to communicate in Japanese, the deadline for changes, and whom to contact if there is a problem after arrival.

Compare what you requested with what has been finalized.

Changing specifications during discussions can make it easy to mix an old quotation with a new order page. Before paying, ask the seller to bring the final configuration together in a single order record. Check that everything matches your request, including items you believe have not changed.

If pre-shipment photographs or an approval process are available, ask in advance what you can inspect and how much you can request to change. Photographs alone cannot establish tactile feel or internal structure. Separating visually checkable items from those requiring written answers helps reduce omissions.

  1. Put the final specifications in one document

Ask for a response listing the head, body, materials, optional specifications, and accessories.

  2. Check costs and timing

Confirm the total, payment terms, production and delivery schedule, and the scope for changes.

  3. Save the confirmed records

Keep the finalized order page and responses together for checking when the delivery arrives.

Narrow your requirements before adding more candidates.

If your face preference is settled, first check the specifications needed to achieve an appearance close to it. If everyday moving or storage concerns you, narrow the shortlist by body dimensions, weight, and handling requirements. The priority of appearance, daily life, and budget varies by person, but each of the three needs to be checked separately.

If there are too many comparison points, try reducing your essential requirements to around three. Request quotations only for candidates that meet them, then select optional specifications afterward. Before rushing to order, aim to be able to explain your intended configuration and total payable in your own words.

Frequently asked questions.

If both are called XYCOLO, are the materials the same?

The brand name alone cannot establish this. Check your preferred head and body, and the materials and specifications available when ordering. For multiple candidates, obtain quotations on the basis of the same configuration.

I cannot tell the difference from the option names alone.

Ask specifically what changes, which bodies are eligible, the additional cost, and whether care or storage requirements differ. Choosing after you have a complete set of answers you understand makes the order details easier to verify.

Can optional specifications be changed later?

The scope and timing of changes depend on the seller and the stage of production. Do not order on the assumption that changes will be possible later. Confirm deadlines and additional costs before paying, and keep the response.
